Itinerary

DAY 1 - THE OLD TRAIL TO THE TRADITIONS OF THE EAST

  • Welcome to the office

  • Departure by vehicle to the river (45 min)

  • Boat trip across the river (20 min)

  • Walkthrough the primary forest (2 hours)

  • Accommodation in the cabins

  • Lunch

  • Community and to a Kichwa family visit

  • Handcraft workshop (45 min)

  • Blowgun Practice (45min)

  • Dinner

DAY 2 - ANCESTRAL MEDICINE PRACTICE

  • Breakfast

  • Hike to the Amarum Paccha waterfall

  • Visit medicinal plants garden

  • Lunch

  • Healing steam bath with medicinal plants

  • Fishing at Huambuno River

  • Dinner

  • A cultural night with indigenous music and dance

DAY 3 - DISCOVERING THE YUKA CHICHA

  • Breakfast

  • Visit the cocoa plantation

  • Cocoa harvesting and artisan chocolate process

  • Lunch

  • “Chicha de yuka" Kichwas typical drink elaboration

  • Departure and return by vehicle
